JSC “Kyzylkumcement”

JSC “Kyzylkumcement” is a modern enterprise using advanced technology of dry cement production and modern equipment with a high level of process automation. The current capacity of the plant is 3.6 million tons, and it is currently expanding to 5.4 million tons.
The plant is located 8 km southwest of Navoi,
on the main railway line Tashkent-Samarkand –Bukhara.

The company is one of the 20 largest taxpayers in the Republic of Uzbekistan, provides a high level of wages to its employees, and also sends funds to charity, social projects and support for sports.

The plant was designed by the Yuzhgiprocement Institute (USSR). The first two technological lines were put into operation in 1977-1978, the third line – in 1989. The first and second technological lines are equipped with rotary kilns 6.4 m in diameter, 95 m long, with two-branch four-stage cyclone heat exchangers. The third technological line is equipped with a rotary kiln with a diameter of 4.5 m, a length of 97.5 m with two-branch four-stage cyclone heat exchangers and a calciner reactor.

The design capacity of three technological lines is 3.6 million tons of cement per year. An investment program for the construction of the 4th technological line is currently being implemented. Upon completion of the launch of the line, the production capacity of the plant will be increased by 1.8 million tons of cement per year.

The enterprise has its own raw material base: limestone quarries, clay shales, apobasaltic orthoschists, quartz-feldspar sand, pelitic tuffite and gypsum stone. The production operates its own fleet of trucks, mining dump trucks, bulldozers and wheeled front loaders, a railway station and a diesel locomotive depot.
