United Cement Group carries out ongoing work that allows control the impact of the enterprise on the environment. The Aspiration workshop is responsible for proper operation, repair, maintenance, as well as adjustment of all dust removal installations of raw mills and rotary kilns, monitors compliance with established standards maximum permissible emissions into the atmosphere (MPE). Technological lines for cement production are equipped the following dust and gas treatment plants, including: 1. electric precipitators type UG-2-3-74, EGA 1-40-12-6-3-330, EGA 1-40-7.5-4-4-330-5A for cleaning exhaust gases from furnaces, raw mills and excess air from the clinker cooler; 2. bag filters FRKI 384, FRKI 480, EFP-1-5,0-364-D6, FRKI-90 for cleaning the aspiration air of cement mills and cement silos; 3. dust settling cyclones TsN-15-700 for cleaning the exhaust gases of lime kilns. Control of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and compliance MPE standards are systematically carried out by the staff of the Ecology Department.

United Cement Group is actively working on modernization and development of production, increasing energy efficiency, expanding the range and developing new types of products. In the period from 2017-2021. completed in this direction the following activities: 1. Modernization of the secondary crushing system has been completed with the installation of two new medium crushing cone crushers type GP-7 from METSO (Finland) with a closed cycle system 2. Reduced energy consumption is ensured. 3. A stable fractional composition of the raw material has been achieved after secondary crushing.
